What is Empowered Wellness?
Empowered Wellness (EW) offers holistic wellness experiences for women aged 40+, including online and in person yoga classes, small group training and functional fitness, destination retreats, workshops, and menopause coaching. Our mission is to empower women to feel strong, balanced, and fulfilled in midlife and beyond.

Who are Erin and Kim?
Erin is the founder of EW, a menopause coach, yoga instructor, and personal trainer. Kim is the co-wellness director, a yoga teacher, life coach, and the host of our wellness workshops. Together, they bring decades of experience and a passion for empowering women to live their best lives.

I'm new to yoga/fitness. Can I still join?
Absolutely! Our classes and workshops are designed to be inclusive and adaptable for all levels. Reach out if you’d like recommendations on where to start.

What types of Online Classes do you offer?
We offer a variety of online yoga and wellness classes, including:

Empowered Flow Yoga: An online all-levels yoga class designed to cultivate balance, strength, and a sense of inner empowerment.

Wellness Rest and Recovery Yoga: A soothing online restorative yoga class designed to help you unwind and restore.

Empowered Fusion: A unique class which incorporates 45 minutes of Functional Strength and 45 minutes of yoga in one seamless 90 min class.

Series Based Classes: These classes allow drop in to any of our series based yoga classes.
How do I sign up for a class?
You can sign up for classes through our website.
What equipment do I need for online classes?
For yoga, a mat is essential, and props like blocks, straps, or a blanket are optional.
For fitness classes, a few hand weights and optional booty bands may be used.

What types of In Personal Classes do you offer?
We offer a variety of in person yoga and wellness classes, including a Hot Empowered Flow Class, Empowered Fusion and Series Based Classes.
Where are these classes located?
These in person classes are held at Ananda Studios located at 1304 Victoria Ave, Thunder Bay, ON. 2nd Floor of the Gleeson Building.
How do I sign up for a class?
You can sign up through the website.
What equipment do I need for in person classes?
There is mats, blocks and other props for yoga as well as light hand weights and booty bands for fitness classes located at the studio, however if you prefer your own equipment please bring with you.

Do I need prior yoga experience to attend a workshop?
No, our workshops are accessible for all levels and include a variety of activities beyond yoga, such as journaling, mindfulness, and group discussions.
Where are the workshops held?
Our workshops are currently being held at Ananda Studio at 1304 Victoria Ave. Thunder Bay, above the Gleeson Clinic.
How do I sign up for a workshop?
You can sign up through our website. Choose to attend an individual session or more.
What equipment do I need for a wellness workshop?
All equipment will be provided, however if you prefer you can bring you own yoga mat and props.

What are your Rates for Classes and Workshops?
We offer several different options to commit and save.
Online classes: Drop in $15 or Empowered Wellness Online Package of 10 classes for $120
In person classes: Drop in $18 or Empowered Starter Pack of 4 classes $68,
Workshops: $67 In person and $47 Online for a 2.5 hour workshop.

Do you offer Video on Demand?
Yes!! Our Video on Demand (VOD) library offers pre-recorded yoga and wellness classes you can access anytime, anywhere. It’s perfect for those with busy schedules who want the flexibility to practice or workout at their convenience.
What types of classes are available on VOD?
Our library includes a variety of classes, such as: Empowered Flow Yoga, as well as a variety of classes from Kim (Tabata Transformation, Tone Zone, Fitness Fun and Gentle Flow Yoga). We have over 44 videos.
How do I access a video?
Videos can be rented for 72 hours for the cost of $7 or you can receive unlimited access for a subscription price of $30 per month.
Are new classes added regularly?
Yes! We frequently update our library with new content to keep your practice fresh and inspiring.

What is Menopause Coaching?
Our menopause coaching is a personalized program to support women during this life transition. We address nutrition, fitness, mental and emotional well-being, and more to help you feel empowered and balanced.
